Though a little repetitive with a particular quote from the Talmud for example's sake, this book is brilliant and serves as a wonderful introduction to your study of the Talmud. It will clarify a great deal and, indeed, is a biography about the Talmud. Author was highly successful in what he set out to accomplish. Highly recommend.
