My teenage grandson suffers with anxiety, since his mother (my daughter), took her life 4 years ago. He said that the workbook helped a little, and that it was okay. He said some parts were good, and others didn't help at all. At least he took the time to use it! That says a lot! Thank you.

This series of teen workbooks is one of the most valuable resources I have found for counseling my at risk teenage students! I purchased the anxiety, anger, self esteem and overcoming negative feelings handbooks and I was honestly nervous. So many of the tools avaliable to address teen needs are dated and are taken as nothing but a joke by those they are designed to help. My 6th-12th graders happily and often eagerly engage in the questionnaires and activities in these books! They also have told me that they feel like they really do help. That in and of itself is worth it to me!

If you have a teenager who suffers from excessive anxiety, this is the best book out there. As a parent and as someone with a degree in Clinical Psychology, this earns my seal of approval. It's simple to use, but backed by the science.

I am a therapist who was looking for a good workbook w/ tools to help w/ anxiety for my adolescent population. Although this workbook has some good materials it seems to be more appropriate for preteen or younger teens. Which is still helpful for me. For parents looking for a good workbook I would recommend this book for kids 11 through 14 or 15. Older than that I would look into books geared toward adults, as I think older teens would find this book immature.

Bought for my granddaughter who has Aspergers and some health issues cropping up. She says she likes it a lot, that it helps

Worst book ever. This book causes/creates anxiety. It's nothing but a big notebook. Barely any information just 200 pages to write your v feelings. The activities on EVERY page are super stressful. Im throwing this book in the trash. It's useless

The time period of this evaluation is 1941-1942. Both sides were operating with their prewar weapons and tactics, while the Pacific War still hung in the balance.The author first examines the IJN submarine and USD destroyer inventories for strengths and weakness, then surveys the results of actual combat. In what was a surprise for this reviewer, IJN submarines are shown to have been more successful than they are usually given credit for, despite a faulty targeting doctrine. It is also clear that USN destroyers had not yet mastered anti-submarine warfare tactics. The text includes lots of period photographs and modern illustrations. Well recommended as excellent coverage of a neglected topic of the Second World War.

More than 1/2 this book is spent in brief reviews of the classes of Japanese submarines and American destroyers. Very little space is spent describing the destroyers tactics. No comparisons are made of the number of sinkings by American or German submarines to compare with the IJN. Even though I like these Osprey titles in this series this one is a waste.

What a fun book! I bought this for all of my grandkids and nephew. I packaged it up with markers and paper so they can paint their own snowmen! My daughter who teaches 3rd grade is using this book in her art section. I Can;t wait for the the next edition! Great bios and artwork!

I found this author and illustrator, this year and am so pleased. I loved this married duo's work. Introducing art in such a clever way is a delight. These are many of the artists I introduced in elementary school as a volunteer art teacher. I would have loved having this resource. I would have done lessons specifically with drawing a snowman because of this book. Kids love it!

This is a fantastic book on all levels. The Art work is fabulous. What a great way to introduce children to great artists and their style of painting. As a mother, grandmother, and Art teacher I find this book a must for teaching. I love the interaction in the end of the book for the child to actually draw their own Snow man. I love the way the book is written and the excellent bios at the end about each artist! The Bewbolds are genius!

Massive disappointment. A very slender volume whose size is indicative of the author's level of ability. Not the least bit of help sorting out GAAP issues. The author even has a disclaimer that the book is for "entertainment purposes only." Really? Accounting? Entertainment? You've got to be kidding.

I always enjoy this author, he is very thorough and has a great insight of the business.

This book is well written and easy to understand.A must have for new business owners. Provides a basic foundation for understanding the financial side of running a business.

I thought this book would be geared towards accountants but it's not. I highly recommend this book for anyone who owns or is starting a business of any size. He breaks down everything you need to track your finances accurately and explains all terms very clearly. I found every chapter very helpful and learned what I can be doing to make my business finances more clear and how to make tax time much easier for myself.If you have or will be starting a business, get this book!

An excellent behind-the-scenes chronicle of the vaccine-autism controversy. I would've preferred a little less about the people and a lot more about the technical elements of the debate, but this book does cover important aspects of both.

David does an awesome job of outlining how our government, or should I say pHARMa's government, was bought and paid for by the money generated from profits which harmed a generation of America's children (my son included). He also shows how the CDC and other government agencies schemed to hide the data which proves a direct link between thimerosal and autism. David selflessly put his career on the line in writing this book and for that the autism community is forever indebted to him.

A definite possibility to the autism epidemic that is taking over the USA. If you are going to have a baby you should read this and then decide if you want to vaccinate the way they currently have the schedule, which I truly believe needs to be changed.

I bought this because i have a child with autism and i felt like i wanted more answers.I got some of them answered with this book!It is excellently written and David Kirby really delves in.IT also traces the stories of parents who are fighting for what they know happened to their children and all the corruption out there.A must read.I do have to say though i almost got angry reading it.The truth in this matter is shocking if you open your eyes! Job well don David Kirby keep up the good fight!!

This book gives an in depth analysis of the role of mercury/thimerisol in Autism and describes the efforts of many parents and scientists to bring this to light, while coming up against obstructionist activities from government agencies including the CDC. The book is balanced and poses both sides of this debate, and includes 1st hand accounts of meetings, phone calls, and e mails, as well as graphs and tables of relevent scientific data. There is also quite a bit of information regarding the possible biological mechanisms and their involvement with Autism. If you have a family member who is Autistic and are suspicious that mercury/thimerisol could be implicated, then you have to read this book.
