I'll start this review off by saying... I'm do not like cooking. So when I look for a recipe book, I look for something easy with simple ingredients. This book did not disappoint! It was easy to find the ingredients (most of which I already had in my kitchen), the recipes were easy for me to follow, and the food came out yummy. I also like how the net carbs are included in each recipe (makes it easy to put into my Carb Manager tracker).
It has simple, but interesting recipes. I also enjoyed reading the introduction and lists of foods that are great, ok and bad for the keto diet. It's difficult when you're vegetarian and trying keto. I also occasionally eat salmon and tuna, so I liked that it also included pescatarian recipes. There are also pictures for most of the recipes, which I like. Everything I've made from this book has been delicious so far.
This cookbook contains many recipes that are NOT vegetarian! I was very disappointed to see several recipes using seafood. Very unhappy with this book.
Gave up Keto early on as too restrictive for vegetarians. That having been said, there are some great recipes for vegetarians that non-vegetarians should also enjoy. Passed the cookbook along to an omnivore friend.
Very simple and sometimes bland recipes. Worth trying for easing into the keto veg lifestyle but needs more spice!
Great recipes out of this book. I’ve made 6 so far and have not been disappointed yet.
I have made about 7 recipes in one week - delicious and easy! The brocolli cheese soup and coconut curry are fabulous. Also love the "noatmeal"! I highly recommend.
