Really didn’t expect this book to be as good as it is. It was recommended to me by a writer to improve character development but has improved many other areas of my life as well. Wish I had it decades ago.

Its a rough read, to be completely honest. Its not exactly thrilling, but if youre an actor this is a must read. Stanislavski set the bar for modern day actors/acting, and his teachings at the very least must be studied by any aspiring actor. Now, if your looking for something interesting to read. and youre NOT interested in acting and theatre, this probably isn't for you. I love acting, and i bought this for my class, but i'm not a very focused reader and this was a battle to get through.Physically, my copy was fine, i got a used one which i promplty spilled coffee all over and filled with highlights and notes ;) a personal touch i guess. Anyways, i'm very happy with my buy, the book was great quality, but its not for everyone.

This book is an essential reference for anyone interested in understanding in depth acting techniques. Written as a story rather than a manual is makes it more pleasurable to read in that sense for people interested in the craft. However for someone looking for a fun read, this book might still see way too technical and delves into too much detail that may disinterest the casual reader

We utilized this book in my methods of Stanislavski class, and matched with the material my instructor selected, it was very beneficial in furthering my acting techniques. A little obscure at times, but overall very effective in demonstrating the different aspects of Stanislavski's teachings.

The way it is written like a story makes it not only a brilliant read for any aspiring actor, but makes it fun for both actors and anyone looking for a good read. You learn alot about Stanislavski and about yourself.

Excellent book on theory and methods of being an artist on by building characters from the inside out.

Its a little boring watching the students ask so many question, I would like a book with the lessons only but this makes you learn too

Constantin Stanislavski is THE instructor for training the actor. This volume is one part of a three part set on training the actor. It is present in a very easy to follow format ,, it's as though one is reading a story. Highly recommended for any student of the theatre.

I only recently discovered Micah Hackler's books but became an instant fan with Legend of the Dead, the first of the series. Shadow Catcher is the third I've read, although it is the second in the series. This is a mystery filled with side plot lines deftly introduced and left to the imagination, creating great realism for the backstory of Sheriff Lansing's life. The reader realizes the subtly building suspense in multiple areas means something bigger than just the consecutive events is gripping the entire territorial county, including both the land within Lansing's jurisdiction and the Jicarilla Apache Reservation that isn't within his jurisdiction. Soon, a fever pitch of murder, missing persons, youngsters coming of age and mysterious ancient spirit saviors embodied but twisted to evil ends grips the reader, and Hackler keeps the pace up through out. Fast moving, always interesting, a can't put it down for long must read.

This story is full of intrigue, mystery, and Native American folklore. Once you start reading, it is difficult to put the book down. I highly recommend this book for reading pleasure.

Never a dull moment in this series. Action and adventure with a small amount of native American mysticism. Great fun! I'm off to but the next book in this series.

Read them all, you won't be sorry. Every one of them held my attention and I couldn't wait to read the next the next page.

Wow, this book is excellet, it explains how your body works and why this way of eating will help you. I am a M.D. and I couldn't have explained it better myself, this makes a lot of sence, don't trust regular doctors, we have not been teached to cure, but to treat symptoms. This is the sad reality of our health system. Enjoy this book and try your best to follow this way of life.

After you read this book if you still need more information just go to youtube where you will find hundreds of videos where he takes the time to explain how to detox from years of bad eating habits. He explains acidosis and how we are making our selves so sick with the wrong food. He is a gentle, kind man who takes his time (free of charge) on youtube to help people who are in a real crisis with health.I generally don't believe in diet books. I am a firm believer in pushing away from the table. We eat too much. But this isn't a diet book. This is a book that explains exactly how to clean up your act. I highly recommend it. And I highly recommend watching his videos. All I can tell you is I was very sick, and now, I am not. Read it!!!!

Dr. Morse gets in depth on how our bodies work, and how to utilize food and herbs to detoxify, and become truly healthy and vibrant. Despite being in depth, it's extremely easy to follow and understand. This book should be taught in high schools, medical school and dietary classes. Among other issues, I have chronic Lyme disease.
