For anyone studying for the CMP, this guidebook is easy to follow and provides the necessary knowledge to take the exam.
The text is very concise and easy to follow. A lot of useful information throughout the book. However, some of the "Key Points" and the Headlines have completely disappeared. You'll need to refer to the table of contents to know what you're going to read about. Someone should fix this if possible.I was also under the impression that you can annotate and bookmark in the digital copy. Apparently not. I take all my notes by hand to help me maintain the information. I am using this textbook for an online class, so being able to take notes/highlight would be extremely helpful.
This textbook was required reading for a certification course.
I've been an event planner for 20 years but in only the first two chapters of this book, I was learning bits and pieces here and there and it's been amazing! The way the material is presented ties together everything I've done all this time without knowing the organizational strategies behind them. As an event planner, we're often behind the scenes but the info in this book demands us to step up front and be involved as a strong partner so that we're able to add strategic value to meetings and events. Great, great info! Can't wait to dig deeper as I go through each chapter!
This book is illegible on the kindle do not buy!!!
It's a good book
Parts of the book are unreadable with being changed to digital format. There is graphics that cut off words and no spaces between many words. Do Not Buy
The book is difficult to read in Kindle.
