Just hoping it had more history about building.
This is a wonderful look back at the history of the Boston Public Library - the first municipally funded public library in the country, the first library system to open a branch and the first to have a separate children's room. The photos and text are fascinating. Anyone interested in libraries, books, architecture or social history will find this book very informative and interesting.
