EMEK is my favorite show poster artist. His talent is second to none. I love this book and keep it out so when friends come by they can see all the amazing art he has done. It makes a great coffee table book as well. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves poster art or even art in general. You can't deny what a bad ass EMEK is. I hope I get to meet him one day.
This is the book I've been looking forward to with great anticipation for the past few years. I thought there was no way it could live up to my high expectations but, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this considering the immense talents of EMEK, and it exceeded my expectations. It get's 5 stars from me in every way...quality, length, breath, size, price, information, imagination, and even tongue and cheek humor. It clearly shows the reader the reason why EMEK stands heads and shoulders over every current modern day gig artist. I was happy to see the additional work of his talented wife Ronni as well. This book is perfect in all aspects for the person not familiar with EMEK's work and for the thousands of hardcore EMEK collectors. After leafing through this masterpiece you will find yourself spellbound and will be able to see things though the eyes of EMEK himself. This should open your eyes to a new world of perception. Open the cover of this book and you will unlock that door and you will see things in a way you hadn't considered before. You will see BOTH sides of the coin. EMEK takes the world and smashes it up into a million pieces and then reassembles it in a way that only he can for you. Since the beginning of his career (L'Imagerie) days, I have always been a huge fan of Emek's poster art.This book reinforces why I am such a fan. Many of his greatest works are on display to go along with some historic and biographic input.The man was born to draw and to enlighten us one and all.This book would make an excellent resource guide of his work and let's not forget about that old needy coffee table.I only wished that I had a signed copy.This book was easily attainable on Amazon and packaged and delivered swiftly and professionally.
This man is one of the best artists on planet. His work is inspiring as well as thoughtful and beautiful. I love his work so much I got his Skull Balloon from the Coheed and Cambria poster as a tattoo. I'm just glad I don't have to spend the thousands it would cost to get all the artwork. Now, they are all in 1 place for me to enjoy. Thanks Emek. Get over here to D.C. so I can get a signed copy.

Much like the amazing posters depicted in this book, it is a work of art. Quality from front to back, it is filled with beautiful color photographs of an amazing amount of Emek's work. There are also nice touches that give you insight into the artist himself such as the sections on his family. Perfect for someone who has never seen his work before or for a collector and fan. Really a must have for anyone who loves modern art or music!
...and to think this is only a PART of his body of work is truly amazing. What a mind and talent!
I've been a fan of the roct art poster scene, and this is one of the nicest "collected" books that I've seen. The larger pages let the detail on the art come through, and there are a lot of prints represented. If you're a fan at all, this is a great buy.
